Orders and Payment
- Due to the nature of our products involving fresh food, the full payment must be received before your order can be fulfilled.
- A minimum of two weeks’ notice is required for all custom cake orders. Orders placed with less notice may incur a last-minute fee at our discretion. You will be notified if this fee is applied.
Collection and Delivery
- Customers are responsible for collecting their orders at the agreed time and location.
- If delivery is arranged, please ensure someone is present to receive the order. If the delivery location is unattended or inaccessible and we are unable to reach you, the order will be returned to our business address for collection.
- No refund will be provided for the delivery fee in these circumstances.
Food Safety and Care
- All cakes and desserts are carefully prepared, handled, and stored to meet food safety standards.
- Once collected or delivered, it is the customer’s responsibility to refrigerate the product below 4°C immediately. Failure to do so transfers responsibility to the customer, who accepts that the product may no longer be food safe.
- Custom cakes include a Cake Care Guide to help you transport, store, and serve your cake safely. It is the customer’s responsibility to follow all care instructions provided.
- Any damage that occurs after pick-up or delivery is not the responsibility of Baby Smash Cakes by Ange.
Photography and Promotion
- By completing payment, you grant permission for Baby Smash Cakes by Ange to share photographs of your order on our website, social media, or other marketing materials.
- We take care not to include any identifiable personal information unless pre-approved by you.
Decorations and Toppings
- Some decorations, such as large sprinkles, are intended for presentation only and should be removed before eating.
- These decorations can be hard and may cause damage to teeth if chewed. By proceeding with payment, you release us from any liability for injury or damage caused by consuming these decorations.
Personalised Products
Edible Images
- All edible images must be approved by you before printing. Once approved, no further changes can be made to the design.
- Printed images may appear slightly different in colour or shade due to edible ink and printing materials.
- Because these are personalised items, edible images are non-refundable after approval and printing.
Cardstock Toppers and Accessories
- All cardstock toppers and accessories are custom-made and therefore non-refundable.
- Please inspect your cardstock items at pickup. Any errors or issues must be reported within 24 hours of collection so we can correct them.
- After 24 hours, a new order will need to be placed for any changes or replacements.
